Hi, I'm Aimee!
A Northamptonshire wedding & family photographer, mum of three, and a dog mum to Luna, and the face behind Captured by Jae.
I'm a photographer who will probably tell your kids to run, tickle each other and forget I'm even there. I believe photos don't have to be perfectly posed and the best ones usually end up being the ones no-one knew was happening.
I photograph weddings, family adventures, newborns and everything in-between, I want your photos to feel like you, genuine and spark joy when you look back at them.
You do not need to be good in front of the camera...
That's my job!
I would say my approach to photography would be real, not rehearsed. That's probably the simplest way to describe how I photograph.

She is so warm and welcoming and knows exactly how to capture your family in its most authentic, candid moments. She was absolutely amazing with my feral rugrats 😂 and made the whole experience feel so relaxed and natural.
As for our newborn shoot, it was more than I could ever have imagined! She captured all those tiny little features that are so easy to overlook but that you never want to forget-the tiny toes, little lips, and all those precious newborn details. 🥹
